A man known as “Little J” has been apprehended in Peru after authorities tracked down the suspect accused of orchestrating the brutal torture and murder of three women during a live broadcast. Tony Janzen Valverde Victoriano, 20, was captured in his home country of Peru after fleeing Argentina, where he allegedly commanded the killings of Lara Gutierrez, 15, and her cousins, Morena Verdi and Brenda Del Castillo, aged 20.
The tragic events unfolded as the women were enticed to a residence on the outskirts of Buenos Aires with the promise of payment for participating in a supposed “sex party.” Subsequently, they were captured on video being coerced into a van, marking their final moments before the heinous acts were carried out.
The victims’ dismembered bodies were found buried in the backyard of a house, approximately 16 miles from the Argentine capital. Law enforcement located the remains by tracking the victims’ phones, leading to the grim discovery.
Authorities suspect that the murders were a form of retribution, following an alleged theft of cocaine by one of the victims from a member of the criminal organization believed to be led by Valverde. The youngest victim reportedly had her left hand fingers amputated before her death, while another victim had a fractured skull and abdominal wounds postmortem.
Valverde, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the atrocities, was apprehended in Peru after managing to cross the border in a concealed truck. Another suspect, Matias Agustin Ozorio, described as Valverde’s associate, was also taken into custody in Lima. Two additional individuals, including two women, were arrested in connection with the case.
Following the arrests, officials commended the efforts of Peru’s National Police for their collaboration in capturing the fugitives. A statement from Argentina’s Minister of National Security emphasized the effectiveness of coordinated law enforcement efforts in bringing criminals to justice.
The incident, which was reportedly livestreamed on social media to an audience of around 45 viewers, has shocked the community. Efforts are underway to extradite Valverde to face charges in Argentine courts, as authorities work to unravel the details of the tragic events.
