In a recent interview, Donald Trump revealed that he is disregarding his doctor’s advice and finds exercise to be tedious. The US President expressed his dislike for physical activity, particularly mentioning his aversion to walking or running on a treadmill for extended periods. Additionally, Trump disclosed that he consumes a higher dosage of aspirin than recommended by his physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella. Despite being advised to take a smaller dose, Trump persists with the larger amount, attributing the resulting bruising to the medication.

Furthermore, Trump briefly experimented with wearing compression socks for his swollen ankles but abandoned the practice due to personal discomfort. He attributed his ability to combat health issues to “good genetics.” Trump defended his choice to continue with the larger aspirin dose, claiming that it helps in thinning his blood, which he believes is beneficial for his heart health.

Regarding recent speculations about his health, Trump refuted claims of falling asleep at White House events and denied experiencing hearing difficulties. However, he admitted to using makeup to conceal bruises on his hands. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained a bruise on Trump’s hand as a consequence of his frequent handshakes and daily aspirin regimen.

In response to criticisms about his cognitive abilities and physical health, Trump asserted his vitality and dedication to his responsibilities. He mentioned undergoing a recent cognitive examination, which he claimed to have excelled in, dismissing allegations of declining health as false and malicious. Trump criticized media outlets, particularly The New York Times, for spreading what he deemed as fake reports to tarnish his reputation.
