A UK to Egypt flight was canceled following a disturbance involving a group of passengers at a major airport, leading to police intervention. The easyJet flight EZY3077, scheduled to depart from Belfast International Airport to Hurghada at 12:55 pm on Saturday, January 3, was rescheduled for Sunday, January 4, due to the incident.

The airline stated that it treats such incidents seriously and has a zero-tolerance policy toward disruptive behavior onboard. The disruption caused a delay that resulted in the crew exceeding their safety operating hours, leading to the flight’s cancellation, as per reports from Belfast Live.

An easyJet spokesperson mentioned that the police were called before departure due to disruptive passenger behavior. The airline’s cabin crew is trained to promptly handle such situations to ensure the safety of all passengers and the flight. In response to the delay, the flight was rescheduled, and affected customers are being provided with hotel accommodation and meals.

Despite the inconvenience caused, easyJet emphasized that customer and crew safety is their top priority. The PSNI confirmed their assistance in managing passenger disembarkation from the flight at Belfast International Airport.
