The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed a quirky habit that led to a series of Christmas gifts. Kate Middleton, who is a mother of three, confessed to frequently misplacing her mobile phone during an interview with Giovanna Fletcher, the winner of “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” and a podcaster.

In a previous appearance on Giovanna’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast in 2020, Kate discussed her struggles with mom guilt and shared insights on parenting and her work with the Early Years initiative. According to Giovanna, Kate mentioned her tendency to lose her phone and how all her Christmas presents that year were centered around helping her keep track of it.

Despite her phone-related mishaps, Kate has recently raised concerns about the negative impact of smartphones and technology on family connections. She emphasized the importance of investing in meaningful relationships and highlighted the need for good social and emotional skills in children to nurture positive relationships.

In collaboration with Professor Robert Waldinger from the Harvard Study of Adult Development, Kate penned an essay discussing the adverse effects of digital devices on relationships. She pointed out that while technology offers benefits, it often leads to distractions and hampers genuine engagement with others.

On a related note, Prince William disclosed that none of their children, including 12-year-old Prince George, have their own mobile phones. He expressed concerns about internet access for children and emphasized the need to limit exposure to inappropriate online content.
