The daughter of a cannibal has shared her ongoing love for her father, despite his heinous act of consuming her stepmother. Jamie-Lee Arrow described her father’s residence as resembling scenes from a horror film, reminiscing about her upbringing as the offspring of “The Skara Cannibal.”
In 2010, Jamie-Lee’s father, Isakin Drabbad, committed the gruesome act of murdering his partner Helle Christensen and consuming parts of her body. Convicted of murder, he was institutionalized in a mental health facility in 2011, later transitioning to outpatient status in 2020 with an apartment in Sweden.
Reflecting on the past, Jamie-Lee revealed that her father and his partner initially shared a happy relationship, but it spiraled into toxicity, with Helle forewarning Jamie-Lee of Drabbad’s lethal intentions. She recounted an unsettling moment when Helle, while serving food, chillingly disclosed Drabbad’s plan to end her life, leaving Jamie-Lee terrified.
Amid escalating conflicts leading up to Helle’s tragic demise, a gruesome incident unfolded on November 12, 2010, as Isakin Drabbad fatally attacked Helle, dismembering her and cooking parts of her body. Jamie-Lee learned of the horrifying event from her mother, initially questioning if her father was involved, a realization that shattered her understanding of the situation.
The murder involving Drabbad garnered significant attention in Sweden, and Jamie-Lee candidly shared details of her upbringing, including her father’s creation of eerie “voodoo dolls” and the eerie atmosphere in their home, adorned with imagery from horror films.
Despite the haunting past, Jamie-Lee expressed an enduring love for her father, emphasizing the complexity of familial bonds. However, she emphasized the importance of maintaining distance from him and ensuring a safe and loving environment for her children, shielding them from the darkness that plagued her own upbringing.
