No one managed to claim the £9 million jackpot in the latest National Lottery Lotto draw, leading to a quadruple rollover of the prize money.
The winning numbers for the Lotto draw were 3, 9, 20, 33, 45, 50, with the bonus ball being 12. Additionally, the Thunderball numbers drawn were 1, 10, 13, 26, 38, with the Thunderball number being 6. Despite no jackpot winner, one player matched five main numbers and the bonus ball, securing a £1 million prize. On the other hand, there were no winners for the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot, but three players matched five numbers, each winning £5,000.
The upcoming Lotto draw scheduled for Saturday, January 10, is anticipated to offer an impressive £11.2 million jackpot.
Although no participant matched all six main numbers to scoop the £9 million jackpot, one player matched five numbers along with the bonus ball, winning £1 million. Moreover, 66 players managed to match five out of the six main numbers, each taking home £1,750.
In the Lotto HotPicks draw, which uses the same numbers as the main Lotto draw, no one succeeded in matching all five numbers to win the £350,000 jackpot. However, six players matched four numbers, earning £13,000 each.
In the Thunderball draw, three players matched five numbers, securing a prize of £5,000 each.
The National Lottery website confirmed that the current Lotto draw concluded with a quadruple rollover, indicating no jackpot winner. The subsequent draw is projected to offer a substantial £11.2 million jackpot.
Furthermore, the £500,000 Thunderball jackpot, a consistent amount for each draw, remained unclaimed.
The winning Thunderball numbers for this draw are 1, 10, 13, 26, 38, with the Thunderball being 6.
Tonight’s winning Lotto numbers are 3, 9, 20, 33, 45, 50, with the bonus ball being 12.
The announcement for the winning Lotto numbers will be made in 15 minutes.
To secure the jackpot, players must match all six numbers correctly.
Best of luck to all ticket-holders!
To participate, individuals must purchase a Lotto and/or Thunderball ticket before 7.30pm. The cost for Lotto tickets is £2 each, while Thunderball tickets are priced at £1.
The previous week’s £5.3 million jackpot experienced a double rollover, as it went unclaimed for two consecutive draws. Although two players won £1 million each by matching five numbers and the bonus ball, no one achieved a full match of all six numbers to claim the jackpot.
Last Saturday (January 3), the substantial £7.6 million jackpot saw no winner, leading to it being unclaimed for three consecutive draws.
Therefore, the £9 million jackpot for this draw represents a triple rollover.
If no participant wins in this round, the jackpot will escalate to a quadruple rollover. The jackpot in the Lotto can roll over a maximum of five times, and on the fifth rollover, it must be won.
The drawing for the Lotto will take place at 8pm, followed by the Thunderball drawing at 8.15pm.
