Google has recently addressed two critical bugs in its Chrome browser, urging users to update their settings and restart their browsers promptly. The vulnerabilities, known as CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910, have been classified as zero-day threats, indicating active exploitation by cybercriminals.

To safeguard against these risks, users must ensure they have installed the latest Chrome release. Google has confirmed the existence of exploits for both CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910 in the wild. Checking the browser version is simple – users can navigate to the Chrome menu and select “About Google Chrome” to verify the current version on their device.

Users running Chrome versions 146.0.7680.75/76 for Windows/Mac or 146.0.7680.75 for Linux are protected. Those with older versions should immediately update by clicking the install and relaunch button. The update process is quick and will shield users from potential online attacks.

Google has rolled out updates to the Stable channel for Windows/Mac and Linux, which will be gradually distributed in the upcoming days. It is crucial for users to stay vigilant, as prompt action can prevent security breaches and ensure a safe browsing experience.
