A British travel agency specializing in flight and hotel holiday packages has recently declared bankruptcy, resulting in the cancellation of all existing bookings. Regen Central Ltd, established in 2011 in Hertfordshire, ceased its operations on January 13 as confirmed by Companies House records.

The company, which offered travel packages to various destinations in Europe and Southeast Asia, also traded under the names One Haji & Umrah, Regen Travels, and Oneworld Travels. An announcement on the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website disclosed that the firm no longer holds an Air Travel Organisers’ Licence (ATOL).

ATOL, a UK program supervised by the CAA, safeguards package holidays financially, ensuring reimbursement or repatriation for travelers affected by a travel company’s insolvency. However, bookings for accommodations only or non-flight packages do not fall under ATOL protection and are ineligible for the same refund benefits.

According to the statement issued, there were no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings with the company, thus no refunds will be provided. For individuals seeking refunds for ATOL-protected reservations under Regen Central Ltd.’s ATOL, the CAA advises contacting them via email at claims@caa.co.uk.

Recent Google reviews highly recommend One Hajj & Umrah and Oneworld Travels, praising their exceptional service and professional staff. Customers expressed satisfaction with the companies, mentioning top-notch hotels, seamless communication, and helpful assistance throughout their travel experiences.

In the past year, several UK-based travel companies have shuttered, as indicated on the CAA website, including Ickenham Travel Group Ltd, Great Little Escapes LLP, and Jetline Travel Ltd.
