Aldi customers are excited about a new version of the popular Dubai-style chocolate, now available in a spreadable form. The chocolate bar, which gained immense popularity in 2023, features a pistachio-tahini cream and kadayif filling, all coated in milk chocolate.

There are differing reports on the origin of this treat, with Fix Dessert Chocolatier initially creating it. However, Nouel Catis Omamalin, a Filipino chef, and Sarah Hamouda, a British-Egyptian engineer, also claim to have invented the recipe back in 2021.

The high demand for this product has led to other renowned companies like Lindt, Marks and Spencer, Lidl, and more introducing similar offerings. Aldi has joined in by introducing its own version of the chocolate bar, along with new products such as a £1.99 ice cream and the Dubai-style spread under its Dairyfine brand.

Dairyfine is well-liked for its affordable range of chocolate bars, snacks, and treats, including Dairyfine Giant Buttons, Titan bars, and Mini Eggs. The Dubai-style pistachio chocolate spread is the latest addition, giving fans an economical way to enjoy the popular flavors that have gained online fame.

TikTok user Ell discovered numerous jars of the new spread in her local Aldi store and shared a video on the platform, garnering over 842,000 views and numerous comments from eager shoppers looking to purchase it.

Some customers expressed disappointment that the product is not available in their local stores, particularly individuals in the US who feel they are missing out on Aldi’s Dubai-chocolate inspired products. Despite these sentiments, many users praised the product’s taste and affordability, with one even joking about potential supply issues if it were available in the USA.
