A popular online beauty retailer is considering a potential sale as advisory services have been engaged to evaluate the company’s future. Beauty Bay, established in 1999 by siblings Arron and David Gabbie and headquartered in Manchester, offers a wide range of products from over 200 brands, including Ariana Grande, Clinique, MAC, and its own brand.

According to a recent report by Sky News, Beauty Bay is exploring various options to secure additional funding, including the possibility of selling the business. Interpath, an advisory firm, is said to be collaborating with Beauty Bay on this endeavor.

Employing a staff of 65 individuals, Beauty Bay has been approached by Mirror for comments regarding the situation. In a separate development, beauty brand Malin + Goetz has entered administration, resulting in the closure of its seven stores in London, affecting more than 70 job positions.

While online orders for Malin + Goetz have been temporarily halted, customers can still purchase their products through third-party retailers like Liberty, John Lewis, and Space NK. The company expressed regret over the closure of its UK operations, citing the decision as necessary following a thorough review.

Malin + Goetz, founded in New York in 2004 by Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz, initially focused on a limited range of skincare products but has since expanded into fragrance, body care, and other beauty segments. The company assures that its website will be back online after a brief maintenance period, although the exact duration remains uncertain.
