Joe Cullen took to social media to express his strong disapproval of Mensur Suljovic, accusing the experienced darts player of unfair play. Cullen faced a disappointing loss to Suljovic in a tense match during the second round of the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.

Despite initially trailing, Suljovic staged an impressive comeback to defeat Cullen 3-1. Throughout the game, Cullen showed signs of frustration by sarcastically checking his watch and quietly urging Suljovic to speed up his throws.

Known for his deliberate pace on the darts circuit, Suljovic’s extended celebrations and slow gameplay visibly agitated Cullen, leading to a tense exchange of words after the match. Cullen made his displeasure public through a fiery social media post, denouncing Suljovic’s tactics as cheating.

In response to Cullen’s criticism, Suljovic appeared puzzled and defended his playing style, stating that he had never apologized to Cullen for his performance. He emphasized that every player has a unique approach to the game and that Cullen’s reaction was unwarranted.

Looking ahead, Suljovic may face defending world champion Luke Littler in the next round of the championship. Littler, an 18-year-old player, will compete against darts player and NHS area manager David Davies in his upcoming match.

The PDC World Darts Championship commenced on December 11, offering fans the opportunity to watch all matches live through Sky’s Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle.
