British darts player Luke Littler expressed his frustration over an incident involving a fan who physically grabbed him while he was taking photos in Prague before the Czech Open. The 18-year-old, who is in Prague to compete in the tournament with a prize pool of £30,000, encountered a group of fans at his hotel seeking pictures with him. Littler initially obliged some fans but was upset when one fan grabbed him as he tried to leave, prompting him to vent his anger on social media.
In a post online, Littler recounted the incident, emphasizing the importance of asking for photos rather than grabbing him. He also addressed another fan who criticized his behavior, stating that physical contact without permission is unacceptable. Littler has faced challenges recently, including receiving abuse from fans at various events. Despite previous negative experiences, he is scheduled to participate in the German Darts Championship next month in Heidenheim, where a substantial prize fund of £175,000 will be at stake. The competition, featuring top players like Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, and Stephen Bunting, is set to commence on October 17 and will span three days.
