Dell has announced the revival of its XPS brand, a year after discontinuing it, following backlash from tech experts and consumers. The new XPS Windows 11 laptops have been completely redesigned with premium materials like aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3 for durability and a sleek look.
Key upgrades include a redesigned keyboard for better stability, a seamless glass touchpad, and enhanced portability with reduced weight and thickness. The new XPS 14 and XPS 16 models are now Dell’s thinnest laptops at 14.6mm, featuring an ultra-slim profile and a reengineered 4K webcam.
Powered by Intel’s latest Ultra processors, the new XPS laptops promise faster speeds, improved graphics performance, and enhanced efficiency. The addition of Intel Arc graphics with 12 cores offers a 50% boost in graphics performance over the previous generation.
Moreover, the laptops boast high-density 900ED cells for up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge, supporting the vivid displays all day long. They also feature edge-to-edge touch displays, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a variety of ports for connectivity.
Dell unveiled the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 models at CES 2026, emphasizing their premium design, powerful performance, stunning displays, and long-lasting battery life. The company aims to deliver a compact and high-quality device that meets the needs of modern users.
