Despite facing Strong Leader with a 6lb disadvantage, Imposer Toi widened his winning margin to a length and a quarter, with jockey Nico de Boinville steering him to success. Honesty Policy, another contender carrying JP McManus’ colors, finished third.
Following the win, Ladbrokes reduced Imposer Toi’s odds to 5-1 for the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham in March. Henderson praised the performance, highlighting the horse’s flawless execution and improvement since their previous encounter at Newbury.
