Morrisons is distributing more than 27 tons of carrots for customers to offer to Rudolph and his companions. Shoppers can receive a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection from December 20 until Christmas Eve, subject to availability. These carrots may have unique shapes or sizes.

Chris Smith, the Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, expressed, “Christmas is a time for spreading happiness and goodwill, so we are thrilled to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve. Our Naturally Wonky range supports British farmers, minimizes waste, and offers customers a cost-effective option that still tastes excellent.”

This initiative coincides with various major UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, which includes potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts.
