Russia has issued another threat of World War 3 towards Britain, this time directed at Sir Keir Starmer as well. Dmitry Rogozin, a senior lieutenant of Vladimir Putin, criticized Starmer as “illiterate and a fool” for proposing to station British troops in Ukraine as part of a peace agreement. Rogozin suggested that such a move would make the UK vulnerable to missile attacks from Russia.

Rogozin, a prominent figure in Putin’s administration, emphasized that historically, even after Russia’s defeat in the Crimean War of 1853-1856, England, France, and other countries did not consider such actions. Despite calling Starmer uneducated and foolish in the broader context, Rogozin warned about potential consequences if the UK proceeded with their plans.

In response, Starmer announced plans for the UK and France to establish military bases in Ukraine to assist in bolstering Kyiv’s defense capabilities. This initiative was formalized through a joint declaration signed by the UK Prime Minister, French President, and Ukrainian leader in Paris following a ceasefire agreement.

Meanwhile, Putin has reportedly conveyed to his troops in Ukraine that their actions are ordained by God. This assertion was made during Orthodox Christmas celebrations where Putin was accompanied by military intelligence officials and their families. Putin’s statements were followed by attacks in Ukraine resulting in injuries to several individuals, including children.

Putin’s rhetoric portrayed Russian soldiers as carrying out a divine mission to defend their homeland, framing the conflict as a sacred duty rather than a political decision. The Russian leader’s remarks were delivered in the presence of senior military officials from the GRU, including commanders of specific units implicated in recent incidents.

The Christmas service, held at a church within a military compound linked to the GRU, showcased Putin’s support for his intelligence operatives amid increased covert activities across Europe. Investigations have pointed to Russian involvement in various sabotage and assassination plots on the continent, highlighting the growing concerns over Russia’s aggressive tactics.
