A teenager was swiftly taken to the hospital following an incident where she allegedly fell from an ambulance on a busy motorway. The occurrence took place on the M6 southbound at junction 32, connecting to the M55, during Tuesday evening. Despite the incident, the girl reportedly did not sustain any severe injuries.

Lancashire Police responded to the situation, which was described as a road traffic collision, prompting the closure of the motorway for assessment. Commuters were advised to seek alternative routes due to the closure.

The incident was initially reported at 5:17 pm, with the lanes reopening around 7 pm. Lancashire Police confirmed that a teenage girl had fallen from the rear of the ambulance onto the M6 southbound to M55 slip road. Fortunately, she was taken to the hospital with no significant injuries, and the motorway was reopened shortly after.

In a separate incident, a woman in her 60s tragically lost her life following a crash involving three vehicles on the A10 between Hertford and Broxbourne. The collision, which occurred in a layby, involved a grey Porsche Cayenne, a red Fiat 500, and a white Volvo Tipper lorry. The woman, who was outside her stationary Fiat at the time of the crash, passed away despite efforts by emergency services.

DC Lewis Stanley, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, urged anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the incident to come forward. The driver of the Porsche, a man in his sixties, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail pending further investigation.

Witnesses were encouraged to provide information by contacting authorities through various channels, including email, online reporting, web chat, or the non-emergency number 101. Anonymity can be maintained by reaching out to Crimestoppers. Hertfordshire Constabulary requested individuals with dashcam footage of the collision to upload it for investigation purposes.
