Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members this December, providing two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion is valid throughout the month and includes all third-party gift cards available at Tesco stores.

This incentive allows customers to earn double points on any gift card purchase, not limited to Tesco gift cards, with the points automatically credited to their Clubcard account. Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the opportunity to give loved ones a gift they will appreciate while also benefiting from the rewards.

Tesco currently boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions. Members receive one point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, as well as for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations. Additionally, Tesco Mobile expenditures and Tesco credit card spending accumulate points, with one point awarded for every £1 and £4 spent, respectively.

Using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card also garners points, with one point granted for every £1 spent. Accumulating a minimum of 150 points allows members to redeem a Clubcard voucher worth £1.50 for use at Tesco.

In other news, Jordon Cox, known as the Coupon King on ITV’s This Morning, shared a tip on identifying deal expiration dates at Tesco. By decoding a six-digit number on items under Clubcard Price promotion, shoppers can determine when the offer ends. The technique involves reading the numbers in reverse to reveal the expiration date, enabling savvy shoppers to plan their purchases strategically and save money.
