Time magazine published an edition titled ‘His Triumph,’ praising Trump’s administration for its extensive efforts to achieve peace. Despite the positive article, Trump took issue with the cover photo that depicted him in a serious pose, clad in a navy suit, white shirt, and red tie.
Taking to Truth Social, Trump criticized the image, claiming his hair had been altered and a small floating crown-like object was added above his head. He described the cover as “weird” and questioned the choice of angle for the photo.
The article itself hailed the ceasefire deal as a potential landmark achievement of Trump’s presidency, marking a strategic shift in the Middle East. It commended the administration’s meticulous work in quelling a major conflict.
Trump, a long-time admirer of Time magazine who has previously been featured on its cover, has received the Person of the Year title twice. While he values the recognition, he once criticized the magazine for overlooking him in favor of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in 2015.
Expressing his frustration on social media, Trump noted his prediction that Time would not select him as Person of the Year, instead choosing someone he disapproved of.
