While “The Pitt” led the nominations with 25 nods, including best drama series, it was “Widow’s Bay” that stole the show with its remarkable success. Noah Wyle of “The Pitt” secured the outstanding lead actor in a drama series award, but “Tasks” actor Tom Pelphrey clinched the best supporting actor title. Allison Janney of “The Diplomat” caused an upset by winning best supporting actress in a comedy, marking her eighth Emmy win.
