The recent release of the Epstein files was anticipated to bring about accountability but instead has resulted in further disappointment. Despite the emergence of new details regarding Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s association with Jeffrey Epstein, requests for his testimony before the US Congress remain unanswered. Andrew, who has been stripped of his Dukedom and royal duties, believes he has already faced sufficient consequences for his actions.

For many, justice is synonymous with courtroom trials and prison sentences, but for the elite, it often revolves around reputation and retreat from the public eye. Andrew has never been compelled to testify under oath or face rigorous scrutiny like those without royal privileges. The recent disclosure of over three million documents related to Epstein by the US Justice Department has left many survivors feeling exposed and further betrayed.

Despite the extensive review process, which included millions of pages of documents and multimedia, the Department acknowledges that significant portions were either duplicated, redacted, or withheld. While the files reveal Epstein’s continued interactions with influential figures, including Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Donald Trump, none of them have been held accountable or required to publicly explain their connections to Epstein.

The survivors argue that the release of the files has failed to hold Epstein’s enablers responsible, emphasizing that transparency without consequences does not equate to justice. As Epstein, Jean-Luc Brunel, and Ghislaine Maxwell face different fates, those who were part of Epstein’s inner circle continue to evade accountability due to their wealth and influence.

The Epstein files were expected to bring closure to a troubling abuse scandal, but instead, they underscore the reality that power often shields individuals from facing the full force of the law. In the world of the wealthy and influential, scrutiny is managed rather than endured.
