Brian Walshe, aged 50, and Ana first crossed paths at a hotel where she was employed. Their romantic journey began in 2008, leading to marriage and the birth of three sons after Ana relocated to Cohasset, Massachusetts.

Originally hailing from Serbia, Ana transitioned into a new profession in real estate. By February 2022, she secured her ideal role as an executive at a Washington DC company, necessitating weekly commuting.

As the primary earner, Ana envisioned a unified family life with her two, four, and six-year-old sons by relocating them to be together full-time. However, hurdles emerged as Walshe, grappling with house arrest, couldn’t accommodate the move due to his legal situation.

While Walshe cryptically described his occupation as art-related, legal troubles emerged in 2021 when he confessed to art fraud charges. These included selling counterfeit Andy Warhol paintings online and failing to sell art entrusted by a friend. Facing potential imprisonment, Walshe’s predicament escalated when Ana initiated an extramarital affair in Washington, signaling the deterioration of their marriage.

The situation intensified as Walshe’s internet search history revealed inquiries about divorce laws and disposal methods for bodies. Events took a dark turn when Ana went missing on January 4, 2023, prompting a police investigation. Suspicious findings in Walshe’s car and his erratic purchase of cleaning supplies raised alarms, leading to the grim discovery of incriminating evidence near his mother’s residence.

Following a harrowing trial, Walshe was convicted of first-degree murder in December 2025. Sentenced to life in prison without parole, he faced severe condemnation from the judge for his heinous actions. Despite ongoing efforts, Ana’s remains remain undiscovered, perpetuating the anguish for her bereaved family and highlighting the ghastly fate she suffered at the hands of her husband.
