Dennis Haskins, famously known for his role as principal Richard Belding in the popular TV series “Saved by the Bell,” has passed away at the age of 75, as confirmed by his agent Jay Schachter in a statement to CBC News. Describing it as a tragic loss, Schachter expressed deep affection for Haskins, highlighting his genuine love for his fans and the lasting friendship they shared over two decades.

Haskins gained widespread recognition for portraying the caring and approachable principal of Bayside High, with his iconic catchphrase, “Hey, hey, hey, what is going on here?” The actor, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, initially portrayed Mr. Belding on Disney Channel’s “Good Morning, Miss Bliss,” which later evolved into the renowned series “Saved by the Bell” that aired from 1989 to 1993.
