Newly released footage reveals a confrontation between an ICE agent and Renee Good, where the agent shot her three times and used offensive language towards her. The video, filmed by the agent, provides a detailed perspective of the moments leading up to the incident.
In the footage, Good’s car is seen partially obstructing the road as the agent exits his vehicle to approach her, capturing her face and license plate. Good remains calm during the encounter, stating she is not upset with the agent. Another individual, potentially Good’s partner, records the interaction on a phone.
Good asserts that their license plates remain unchanged and identifies herself as a US citizen and a former Navy veteran. As the agent continues to move around her car, Good reverses to allow other vehicles to pass. The person outside the car jokingly suggests the agent get lunch.
Additional officers arrive and demand Good to exit her vehicle forcefully. Good then turns her steering wheel to maneuver the car around the officer in front. Subsequently, the agent fires three shots as Good drives away, with him uttering offensive language.
The footage, released by Alpha News, contradicts statements from the White House regarding the incident and provides context. It indicates that Good parked to obstruct ICE agents but shows no signs of aggression. Importantly, the video demonstrates that Good was not attempting to harm the officer deliberately and was trying to maneuver around him.
Shortly after the video’s release, US Vice President JD Vance claimed it supported his assertion that Good intended to harm the officer. He criticized the media for misrepresenting the incident and defended the officer’s actions.
