A 23-year-old named Alex Warwick, a medical student at the University of Liverpool, faced a sudden health crisis triggered by an unusual incident during a takeaway order. While chatting with a friend on FaceTime, his friend noticed a speech issue, leading Alex to inform his housemates about feeling unwell upon his return home. The situation escalated quickly, prompting his friends to rush him to the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Initially diagnosed with a stroke by doctors, Alex was later transferred to Aintree Hospital, where he received distressing news of a brain tumor requiring emergency surgery. Despite undergoing chemotherapy without significant improvement, his family is now urgently seeking funds for advanced treatment in Germany.

The estimated cost for this treatment, including travel and insurance, totals around £200,000. Family and friends have managed to raise £58,000, showcasing remarkable generosity. Alex emphasized the importance of contributions in light of his unsatisfactory response to chemotherapy.
