F1 sensation Oliver Bearman has downplayed rumors linking him to Ferrari amid Lewis Hamilton’s struggles this season. The seven-time world champion faced setbacks, including a non-finish at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Hamilton’s challenging season hit a low point in Las Vegas, qualifying last, marking Ferrari’s first such position since 2009. This has stirred speculation about Hamilton’s future, especially as Haas rookie Oliver Bearman continues to impress in his debut season.

Despite talks about their futures, Bearman has shown respect for Hamilton, urging for patience among those pushing for him to join Ferrari. Bearman achieved his best F1 result with a fourth-place finish at the Mexico City Grand Prix, followed by a sixth place in Brazil, placing him 11th in the drivers’ standings.

When questioned about his potential future with Ferrari, Bearman maintained a modest stance, emphasizing the need to focus on consistent performances and team success. He attributed his success in Mexico partly to luck and emphasized the importance of realistic expectations moving forward.

Pressure has mounted for Bearman to secure a Ferrari seat, with former champions like Jacques Villeneuve and paddock legend Kravitz endorsing his capabilities. Speculations suggest Bearman could eventually replace Hamilton at Ferrari, following a similar path to Charles Leclerc’s transition to the team.

Former Haas team boss Guenther Steiner also endorsed Bearman’s potential, suggesting he could replace Hamilton if the latter’s performance falters. Steiner highlighted Bearman’s strong performances and predicted a bright future for the talented youngster in a leading F1 team.

As Hamilton continues to struggle for podium finishes at Ferrari, the spotlight intensifies on him, with Leclerc outperforming him with multiple top-three finishes. The upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix awaits both Hamilton and Bearman, with anticipation building for their performances in the upcoming race.
