Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers are set to experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following a recent announcement. The majority of customers will face a £1.50 per month hike, resulting in an annual increase of £18. However, individual bill adjustments may vary.
The revised pricing will take effect on February 14, 2026, marking the first price adjustment for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years. Customers dissatisfied with the price increment and still within the minimum contract term have the option to cancel their package without incurring an early termination fee.
Notably, the cost of the Sky Mobile social tariff, catering to those with lower incomes, will remain unchanged. Sky attributed the price adjustment to rising wholesale network expenses and assured customers that they would be notified promptly if their bills are affected.
A spokesperson for Sky Mobile emphasized the necessity of the £1.50 monthly increase to maintain the expected quality, service, and value for customers. The decision, made in response to industry-wide cost pressures, enables continued investments in network infrastructure and customer services.
In a similar move, O2 announced an upcoming £2.50 monthly increase for almost all mobile and SIM-only contract customers from April 2026, surpassing the initial £1.80 increment. Three mobile users opting for data plans of 4GB or less will face a £1.80 monthly rise from April 2026, an increase of 80p compared to the current £1 raise.
Customers with data plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB on Three will experience a monthly increase of £1.90 in April 2026, while those with over 100GB will see a rise of £2.30 per month. Three broadband subscribers can anticipate a £3.50 monthly bill increase from the same date.
Vodafone mobile subscribers who sign up for deals starting November 12 will witness a £2.50 monthly rise, with Basics SIM plan holders facing a £1.50 increase. Vodafone broadband customers, on the other hand, will encounter a monthly price hike of £3.50. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband or mobile contract holders will see their agreed-upon prices adjusted accordingly.
