Sky TV customers are in for a treat with a recent free upgrade that now includes access to Disney+ as part of the Sky Ultimate plan. This new perk, valued at £5.99, grants subscribers access to popular content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel at no extra cost.
The enhanced Sky Ultimate package doesn’t stop at Disney+. Soon, subscribers can also enjoy HBO Max Basic and Hayu on their screens, offering a wider range of entertainment options.
Moreover, the integration of Disney+ content across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience. Subscribers to Sky Cinema will benefit from a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel as well.
For those not yet with Sky, the Sky Ultimate package is open to all UK households starting at £24 per month. The package includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on March 26 in the UK & Ireland), Hayu (full access from July), and over 130 Sky channels.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the importance of bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in one subscription. This integration aims to simplify the viewing experience and provide users with easy access to their favorite shows.
Sky has made these changes to streamline streaming services and offer a more cohesive viewing experience to its customers.
